Methodology
European Training Institute's teaching methods are
built on 7 pillars:
- Immersion in real-life Public Affairs
Participants on all courses are immersed in EU environment through
visits to the Institutions, lobbying case-studies, role-play exercises,
working groups, interviews and press conferences.
- Practical approach
By applying a practical approach, ETI's trainers share with our
participants their expertise and experiences.
- An exceptional Faculty
Our approximately 150 visiting lecturers are drawn from senior EU
officials, experienced Brussels PA practitioners, European information
specialists and academics from prominent European universities.
The full-time presence of a Course Director facilitates interaction
within the group and with lecturers.
- Permanent interaction
All sessions are delivered in a studious yet relaxed atmosphere,
where interactivity is key to the course's delivery.
- International dimension
As part of their EU immersion, participants experience a diversity
of languages, cultures and nationalities: among the lecturers, other
students and the ETI staff.
- A unique range of seminars
From introductions to EU affairs (Brussels in a Day, Brussels Insight),
via the 6-day Intensive Programme (Working with the EU), a post-Enlargement
catch-up module, Master Classes on lobbying skills and a top-flight
programme on corporate strategy, all the way through to Customised
Programmes, Summer Schools, personal coaching and, in the very near
future, E-learning.
- Synergy with a leading European press agency
There can be no sucess in public affairs without information monitoring
and no effective lobbying without articulate communication. Europe
Information Service (EIS), the publisher of europe information (formerly
european report), brings these insights to its sister-company, the
European Training Institute.
